1 Owner (?) '69 Z, Great Docs

I like the car, but it has been repainted and the original engine is out of it (but included). Price seems like a stretch to me. What do you guys think this one is worth?

Have to say, I can't remember the last time I've seen a 12 bolt code THAT well preserved. The car has obviously been out of the weather for a long, long time.

It does have a lot going for it.

I don't see a pic of the trim tag, but am guessing an X77 car with parts of the style trim added.

That one was for sale not too long ago. I think I remember seeing that 1971 photo.

Pic of pad stamp.

Really nice car, a twin to my 69 Lemans Blue L-78 I had over 10 years ago. I see the value somewhere between 65 and 75K.

Would love to have it!

It is a beautiful car but I may be partial :) The build date is about one month after mine.

I have a question about the duel snorkel air cleaner and if its correct. Also should the shift handle be chrome?

Appears to be a 1970 Z-28 350 engine setup and air cleaner. I guess the owner wanted to preserve the original short block while having some extra torque in the process. I always thought a 70 LT-1 350 in a 69 Camaro was the best of both worlds.

Thanks. I have that 350/370hp LT1 in my 69Z and its fantastic. The original 302 is on a stand waiting to be rebuilt, eventually.

Back in the day, Car & Driver magazine did exactly that, put an LT-1 in a blue 69 Z28 and called it "Blue Maxi". They gushed over the car.

Wonder what's up with the oddball BIN prices in both the old and new auctions :hmmm:
