'70 LS6 with Original CRV Block and Build Sheet
Sold new at Quality Chevrolet in Oak Lawn, IL. Looks like it was Cortez Silver originally. Trans is a replacement but it's supposed to come with the original VIN-stamped CRV block (engine in the car is a replacement).
Definitely has that driver look with the speakers cut into the door panels, but if you could buy this one at a fair price, and reinstall the original engine, you may have some room to work with.... Interesting. Console added? Would be cool with buckets and no console!!!

I represented this car last year in November.
More info about the car here. You are welcome to still call Richard at the same number I posted. https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=145728 |
Is the original block hurt is any way, or has it had any repairs from previous damage?

The original block has a sleeve in it. Richard told me that it ran hot and rather than deal with it he put a replacement block in the car so he could drive and enjoy it. I saw no other major issues with the block on a quick going over. I have photos of the stamps and dates of the original block as well as many more of the car and will discuss if anyone is a serious buyer. Please no VIN collectors as I am way too busy for that.
