69 ya chevelle wheels
 

Gentlemen was wondering were they still making 69 chevelles in October of 69 seems awfully late in the year! Just looking at my YA ss wheels and I have 4 dated in April one dated in June and one dated in October! It’s stamped ya could this be an early 70 wheel I know 70’s are normally stamped AO Thanks

Yea I’m pretty sure I answered my own question of it being a October of 68 wheel for and early 69 car! So my next question is what’s an acceptable dated correct wheel for a May built 69 chevelle

The early production YA wheels dated 68 are super rare.
They have a larger font.
May Built Chevelle wheels would / could be dated Feb/Mar or even early April.

Dan your exactly correct I did notice the font on that early wheel is a lot larger then my April wheels.

So I just bought the Ya wheel from Kurt to finish a complete set of 5 for my 05d built 69 chevelle so now I need 3 early wheels for my 01d built 69 which I guess is gonna be expensive and tuff to find! Lol

What's the exact build date of your 01D 1969 Chevelle?

I have one 1968, October 4th YA wheel.

D indicates 4th week of January
