'64 #s Daytona Blue Fuelie Corvette Convertible
Great car with a nice color combo. Seems like a fair deal at the $55,000 asking price understanding it needs some TLC, but I'm not close enough to these cars for my opinion to have any value. What do you guys think of the price?
I'm a little weirded out by what look to be grinder marks around the VIN plate. Link to 1964 Corvette Fuel Injected Convertible auction https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/GwkAA...IR/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/on8AA...H8/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/3ekAA...II/s-l1600.jpg |
63 and 64 Vin tags were spot welded from the factory, so the grind marks are factory prep before the weld, looks good.

WTF happened to the steering column ? Looking at the shifter I have to wonder if it is hooked up to anything.

Even with paint on the engine pad, I do not like the stamp

----Along with the stuff mentioned it has a cheap copper replacement radiator, poor repro seat covers and carpet, wrong antenna, and I'll bet it has been popped in the nose as the headlight buckets are way out of alignment......Bill S
