'70 Duster, Original Top Banana Paint, Nice Driver

I'm sure some folks will be amazed to hear this car just completed a 1200 mile road trip, but these old cars are pretty reliable when they're stone stock and well maintained. Neat car for the opening $8800 bid.

Bracket on the alternator does not look factory.

When I was a kid the next door neighbor had a red Duster with the Twister graphics. But theirs had a lot more flat black graphics on the hood and down the sides.

Driven

You are correct about the driveability Tony. As you probably know, I drove the 69 Biscayne from north of Toronto to Carlisle PA and back, about 700 miles round trip. L72 M22 on Redline Bias plies down US15 , through twisty hilly two lane highway, some of it at night, in torrential rain, with transport trucks passing me and me passing them. Arrived at the gates the next morning , and was given my passes and accreditation as a featured car in the Solid Lifter Showroom. "Here is your pass for your truck and trailer" don't have either of those "Here is your pass for your support vehicle" don't have one of those..once the car was in the show I used Uber to get to the hotel . And the generosity of Jeff Boone and Garry Thomson for a few rides . So yes, they can be reliable. Had to resist the urge to set up a street race or two at some of the drive- ins I stopped at on the way. All I needed was Dennis Wilson riding shotgun !
