I know these wheels are not real popular with the day 2 purists but I have had them since 1978 and they were real popular on camaro race cars in the early 70s! here they are on my 1965 Malibu (about 1977-78) Fronts are 15x4 and rears are 15x8 with micky Thompson sportsman I L/60/15s

Cragar super tricks have been around since 1970. I still think they are cool,

I especially like the brushed aluminum finish. Very nice. Rob

They're beautiful and real Day 2 wheels. I remember a bunch of people in the 70's who ran them, especially the brushed ones. The polished/chrome ones were more of an 80's thing, but still late 70's as well.

Can't recall if it was the Super Tricks or the Bogart's that I was warned about, but I was told the are "not recommended" for street use as they could separate from normal turning and street use and that they were also to soft of metal to absorb the potholes and would ultimately fail or separate? I was further told they were designed for straight line use only?
Other race wheels like Centerline and Weld were supposedly constructed much differently where I was told they were better suited for street use because of the differences in mfg technologies? Any truth to that, or any concerns with using the older and lighter 4" wheels on street cars? |

Super Tricks are cool in my opinion and fit the Day 2 vibe just fine.
Now if you have some aluminum center caps, the rare/cool factor gets ratcheted up a notch! I would run a tube in the front if you plan to street drive them. Not sure it provides much more than a 10% increase in avoiding a tire going flat from an unpredicted situation. |

The super tricks are great looking wheels, definitely very light and for straight line only. Last year I found and bought an old 64 Chevelle race car with those wheels on it. It had tow tabs on it so I flat towed it home :D
