'69 383 Charger, Original Paint CA Black Plate Car
The California cars are coming out of the woodwork today - how many original paint Chargers have you ever seen? I certainly haven't seen many.... Strong bidding so far.
Interesting that it was invoiced to a dealer in Texas per the window sticker. Link to 1969 Charger auction https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/CxoAA...IJ/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/edoAA...Nr/s-l1600.jpg https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/KugAA...MT/s-l1600.jpg |
That is a great car. A set of tires and go! I don't see many red interior Chargers. Predominately black. The H code cars run really well. Would like to see trunk pictures though.

Charger...
Cool car...the A/C option is 2.5 times the cost of the 383 4bbl.
This would make a great cruiser  |
What was the baseline engine in these cars?

There was a nice B5 blue/blue restored 69 Charger for sale a while back that had been featured in one of the Mopar mags a decade ago. It was beautiful, and it was a factory 225 slant 6 cylinder/3 speed on the column:)

I'm glad this one didn't get swallowed up for the set of "Dukes of Hazzard" back in the day. :)

Looks like that is correct...slant six all the way up to the Hemi. |
