Hi sYc Friends, another rare item here.

A real, NOS Purolator cross ram air filter element as shown.

expanded mesh on the outside and fine mesh on the inside - whiter element paper - correct part number AFP-22 AFP22 - made in Canada and I believe GM part number was 3942572.

This is the short filter for / fits cowl plenum / flat hood cars I believe.

This listing is FOR THE PUROLATOR ELEMENT ONLY! The original GM AC filter was just used to stage this Purolator filter to show it is the exact same size / dimensions and thus, fits an original set up. If it looks a different size in the photos, it's perspective - it is the same size.

No Purolator box left and it smells musty - it's clearly old.

ALSO, that real GM AC NOS element is for sale in another listing here.

$100 shipped to the 48.

Cheers all,
Anthony

Hi Gang, I was asked for measurements, it is just under 21" long, approximately 9.5" wide and just under 2" high FYI. Please see below photos.

Cheers all,
Anthony

Anthony,

Do you know if its the short or tall one.
The tall one won't fit my hood clearance.

Hi Dave, I believe the <2” ones are the ‘short ones’. But you might want to double check.

Thanks, Anthony
