Holly, Lynn and I went to Pavilions today for a bit. The weather was beautiful, around 80 degrees. That being said, turnout at Pavilions was light. We were surprised. We saw Jim Parks, Mike Greenawalt Shaun, Kevin DeWitte and Fred Koenig.
I took pics of just a few cars...some that I haven't seen before or haven't taken pics of in a long time. Enjoy! Nice Turbo Trans Am Attachment 159982 440+6 GTX! Okay, I have to add some pics that Bill Pritchard took over the Auction week at Pavilions. I have to apologize, they got buried in my cell phone email :(
Thanks for sending them to me Bill! Some wild stuff here!! Attachment 160019 Attachment 160020 Attachment 160021 Attachment 160022 Attachment 160023 |
As always, thanks for the pics Bruce.
A question for those who have driven those 1989 Turbo TA's, how are those to drive? Are they actually fast? I'd guess they're more of a roll-on kind of acceleration versus a hard-hitting old-school muscle car? |
Mark-From what I understand, they are a blast to drive...
Also, glad you all enjoyed the pics. Holly's had a rough winter with being sick with colds, etc. Not sure if her immune system is more suppressed now than it was before (after the second transplant) We weren't going to chance being out among a bunch of folks. She' doing okay now-and that's what's important. :beers: |
Bruce: As always thanks so much for keeping us folks in the colder regions up on the early spring (late winter) car gatherings in the land of the sun.
Love the rabbit ears on Holly. Maybe the best placed rabbit ears in a pic I have ever seen. Best to Holly. What year was her kidney transplant? I know Zach had issues for about 2 or 3 years after his. Rarely gets a cold now; it will be 8 years this summer, and he works some pretty long hours. |
Hi Lynn, Glad you enjoyed the pics...and Jim's rabbit ears on Holly! :)
Holly's transplant was on December 21st, 2016...so this December it will be 4 years. They switched one of her immunosupressant medications to a different type about 8 months after transplant. She hasn't had any real issues with sickness until now. Maybe it's just a bad year for her? We'll bring it up with the transplant team next week....and see what they have to say :) |
Thanks again for posting Bruce! You’re the best!:HollyRocks:
