Like Salvatore said. May have had the recall cable in the early 70s or sooner...Joe

where the early mounts like the 68 mounts that used a nut & bolt through the mount or the style that just has the bolt that screw into the end of the mount

HP small blocks (Z28 & SS 350) got the impossible to find non interlocking motor mounts which are different left to right.
There were no interlocking motormounts installed on assembly line as far as I have ever seen, the running change/assembly line change occurred sometime after June - it included the bracket which installed between the block and the motor mount, a longer bolt which had a spacer and large flat washer. These are someone else's photos - from a discussion many years ago on CRG. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/5X...t=w640-h480-no https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/rM...0=w640-h480-no |
I was working at a Chevrolet dealer service Dept in Boston when they had the recall to install the cable and bracket on the drivers side
