Cleaning and Documenting my LT-1
I recently pulled the 71 LT-1 Corvette I have off the market until things firm up a little. With all of the extra time it seems I have on my hands, I decided to dive into the car some more. I am going to further document, clean, and remove some of the fluffing the car has received through the years. The first item in order, was to pull the tank and grab the tank sticker.

I was successful in removing the sticker from the tank.

The shocks are just killer, they are difficult to find for a decent price. a set not near as nice as yours have been on ebay for $1200 or 1300, I can't believe no one pulled the tank and retrieved the sheet previously.

Kept pulling the front end apart today. Parts are cleaning up nicely. I have PB Blaster parts solvent in my parts washer. It works surprisingly well on both the fluffing paint as well as grease. I just used some fine steel wool to clean up the caliper brackets and this one dust shield. I did notice after while it will get after the plating, so restraint is necessary.

Nice job on the tank sticker!

Very cool Tim. I enjoy doing this sort of work and although tedious at times, it's very rewarding in the end.
