'64 Corvette Convertible, #s 327-300hp/4-sp, Great Price
Seems like a pretty tight package for the $33,900 asking price. It's had a color change, but what a great driver....

What possesses someone to take a blue-on-blue car and repaint it yellow?

----You know, if the frame is good, and I'm thinking it is, that's a pretty good deal. Leaves a little on the table for a correct color re-paint if desired and not be too much out of line value wise......Bill S

I like it.
How do you strip the paint off of a Corvette? Are the luggage rack and antenna original? |
I use a heat gun and razor blade to get done to the primer. Then use acetone or lacquer thinner with steel wool to get the primer off. Luggage racks were not factory installed on 1963-67 Corvettes. The antenna looks to be original but should be on the driver's side of the car.

----I peeked at the radio and its a Wonder-Bar. I'm almost positive that 64's never had Wonder-Bar radios, but have forgotten a bunch about 64's. Maybe the owner way back when had a 63 that got totaled and he saved the radio and antenna? And,,,then added it to a no radio 64 to save some money. It's weird if he forgot what side the antenna has been on all C2 Corvettes with radios......Bill S

Somebody scooped it up. It sure was tempting.
