CX Turbo 400
 

Selling a 1969 Camaro Turbo 400 CX coded with six bolt convertor.

The stamped VIN on trans case is 19N615867, one off from a Yenko Camaro.

Transmission is being sold as seen in pictures. I have already sold the 6476735 speedo adapter out of it.

The original unique modulator for this trans 8623365 is still in place and is dated 9055, which is the 55th day of 1969;

CX tag is original and they do not get much better than this one.

I did an NRCS on the VIN. It came back as a coupe 124379N615867. Was sold at Jamfco Chevrolet in Jamaica, New York. A copy will be included with trans.

Price is $3750.00 trans and convertor. Yoke in rear of trans not included. Will not ship, but can store for a while if paid in full.

The orig selling dealership is actually Jameco Chevrolet. Typo on the paperwork. Was a huge Chevy dealer not far from my home.

Is there any Blue or Aqua Graffiti stripes on it- there is a bit of a running discussion which is correct Blue or Aqua.
Could you post a picture of the Vacuum Modulator with the date- I didn't know they were dated

I took some more pictures for you. I wiped the top of trans off with warm soapy water and the CX code appeared on pass front while wet. Once dry, it disappears.

A couple of aqua colored stripes at drivers top rear of trans case.

Hopefully there is enough detail in the modulator for you to see the date. This camera I have isn't too great on close-ups.

Will consider reasonable offers on CX trans. I have owned it since late eighties as it sits.
