'69 Chevelle SS396/4-sp Convertible, POP
Looks like a nice car and I dig the blue on blue color combo - don't see a lot of blue interiors on '69s. Interesting that the car has a KK 4.10 rear - again, not something commonly seen with a 350hp car.
Classic nonexistent auction description and not even a picture of the alleged POP, so I can't say much more about this car other than the pics are intriguing. Kansas car with no L on the trim tag probably not a real SS
|
The L is a very consistent tip.
Or lack there of. Ryan W31 |
It sure looks like that axle tube has been sanded down at one point.
|
Also notice the 3rd digit of the interior code on the cowl tag has been obliterated so we can't tell from the tag if it was a bucket or bench seat car. How clever...
|
----At least he didn't just get a new trim tag which the next owner will probably do. We should keep an eye on this one!.....Bill S
