'62 Skylark, #s 215/Stick, Cheap Driver
Neat car for $8500. According to the seller, this one came with the factory 4-speed which has been replaced with a T5.
These cars are light enough to be fun with the small-displacement V8s. Definitely tough to find nice ones these days, and this car looks well kept and solid. Bet this one shows up in a few weeks being sold by a dealer for $12,500.... Very interesting engine, that 215. I believe (may be wrong) that British Leyland/Range Rover bought all the tooling for that engine from GM and used it in a few cars (Triumphs, Range Rovers). My brother has a 1980 Triumph TR8 and it has that engine, in all aluminum form, real screamer

Knew a few guys that put those 215's in Vega's and ran em on Mulholland back in the day.
