'70 Chevelle SS454/4-sp, Black on Black, Owned since '76, Interesting
Always intrigued when I see the high-horse tach in these cars. VIN looks like it would place this car in April 1970 production so it's well within the LS6 availability window.

Other than the induction hood, this is a copy of the LS5 car I owned from '73-79. I still have the engine..
Chevelle experts, talk to me about the instrument panel. I was always of the belief the 4 small circles being painted silver was an aftermarket thing, the originals were all black. This has, what appears to be, normal wear with them silver...:hmmm: |

"Show Stopper"???? Whatever show that may stop, I probably wouldn't want to waste my time being there. It looks like a nice car, but come on.....May be telling that the seller's eBay name has 'Ferrari' in it.

Just another flipper, hoping to make a big profit in the current buying frenzy. |
If that's an original powertrain car, it looks like a good deal for a driver at 53k.
What am I missing? |
That cars been for sale for quite some time originally asking 75k

Folks, I need a bit of education on the dash question. So is this an example of an original dash that has had the black paint on the circles worn off over the years, or is it a repop dash that has been in place for a long time so looks "worn"?
Several things incorrect under the hood, with a replacement motor, it sounds like, but is there anything here that tells us whether it was or might have been an LS6? I'm not a buyer, just curious. Thx Oliver |
