2nd Owner '70 #s Boss 302, Stored Since '86
Great car to preserve...don't love the color, but love the originality.

Bet that color would really pop with a good polishing, dents & all.

Yep, cleaning up what's there may be best as it has that crunchy rust look? Pair of skinny K/H Strippers top right of the '37 Dodge Pickup?:hmmm: :beers: ~ Pete . |
Looking at this reminds me of the one a classmate got for graduation that year. 1970 was a tough year on high performance cars. Never made it thru the summer. Barrel rolled and scrapped.
Another guy got a spankin' new 440/6 pack Road Runner. That one bounced between both safety rails on a bridge, then barrel rolled down the embankment and ended up flipping end to end into his girlfriends yard....absolute scrap with less than 1,000 miles. 2 very drunk kids, walked away with scrapes and cuts and I think the driver got a broken arm. Gawd that was a long time ago to remember clearly. I seem to remember him in a cast, walking across the stage for his diploma. Car never made it to graduation day... |
What's with the weird rocker molding? Those cars never had that. First thing I'd toss. Otherwise a very nice car to clean up, put a stealthy stock-appearing 347 stroker in and go hunting :)
