For Today's Entertainment...

I had a couple of these water saver machines which would not even use enough water to get the clothes clean so I got a set of Speed Queen commercial units years ago and never looked back, until I watched this!

Let's CLUNK a Whirlpool shall we..

We had a Samsung washing machine that was the worst product we've even purchased. I would have liked to have done that with the Samsung machine. They finally provided a refund to us. I was going to go their Austin, TX offices and push it out the back of a pick up truck in their parking lot if they didn't provide a refund.

We had a Maytag Bravos dryer, complete piece of junk. Got rid of it and the Maytag washer [6 yrs old], never again. Replaced with Speed Queen, so far so good.

A bunch of years ago-We actually thought about doing that with a Toshiba TV that we had-that had a known issue with cheap capacitors blowing all of the time. Even under warranty, Toshiba wouldn't stand behind the product.

From AZ to Irvine,Ca is less than 6 hours. I had family that lived close too. My solution? Never buy another Toshiba product...

My sister who now lives in Henderson, Nevada just bought a new Samsung Washer and dryer-and from the time the company delivered it-it didn't work. Took them 3 and a half weeks before Samsung agreed to pick up the set and refund their money. :beers:

My washer stops if a towel is out of place. I need one of those.

Or the door locks and will not let you add anything else...Stinky clothes that literally went through an entire cycle and still smell dirty... Yep been there finished with that.

You need a Speed Queen Commercial HD. Laundromat base model. Get the all analog model. The duty cycle to service requirements are insane. Given the amount of laundry we do the washer should not require service for roughly 15-18 years and we have had it for 6 so far.

Made in THE USA and I actually got money back on the purchase because I deleted the coin box for each unit.

See that EXTRA RINSE button? That is the "filler up to the the top" (with water) option.

Alliance Laundry Systems does make a good machine.

That is freakin hilarious.

I bought a used gas dryer at a garage sale in 1987. I was still using it until I married Sherri in 2010. Of course, we had two of everything, and decided to keep hers.

My 18 year old GE front loader started to leak a couple years ago. Sherri wanted to go nuts on some high end stuff that sings you a song when it is done, and can take the wrinkles out of your clothes if you leave them in the dryer. "What the hell? The DRYER has a water hose going to it?" Yes, it has a steam feature. She NEVER gives me grief over all the crap I buy, including the small fortune we are sinking into my new workshop (converted warehouse built in 1919). What could I do? I simply said: "You do your research, buy whatever you want. Just don't tell me what it costs. Have it delivered and installed when I am not here."

Been about two years now. She loves the LG duo. I don't remember the cubic foot capacity of the washer, but we could probably start doing comforters for the neighbors. I have to admit, they do look nice; if it is possible for a washer and dryer to look nice. Happy wife; happy life. Besides, I would do anything for her. She makes me feel like the luckiest man alive.

I had to buy a anti theft torx set to remove the lock, now I can open it any time during the cycle.
