'71 C-10 Pickup, Strange Medium-Duty Cross-Breed

I'm not sure what else to call this. Interesting concept, but the proportions of the medium-duty truck's front clip look odd against the rest of the C-10 body, IMO. Must have been a TON of work to build this truck.

Needs the bigger fenders on the back.

It's a C40 that had the frame shortened and the pick up box added. Pretty cool conversion, but Freddie's right, that they should have added the rear flares to make it look proportionately correct.
That was one fancy "farm" truck with the Super Cheyenne trim level.

Man, I hadn't looked in the cab of one of these vocational trucks since I was a kid. I recall that dash, shifter, and e-brake handle really well! Rode in one of these every day during the summer when I was in elementary and middle school, helping the old man run his route around Chicago.

Looking back, it's hard to think you could get much work done with a 2 barrel low-compression small block backed up by a 4-speed. Would probably be frustrating as hell to drive one of those old vocational trucks today.

There's a couple of those running around here built by Kelderman and they all have dually beds on them and look like small monster trucks.

There is an outfit called RTech Fabrications, https://www.rtechfabrications.com/ that does something similar.

In Pavillions in 2017 I saw one of his builds - good god you swore it was GM factory it looks so good. Craftsmanship over the top, body integrations were seamless, lines tight too, paint perfect, and modern everything... chassis, suspension, drivetrain, interior. If money were no object, I would absolutely own one.
