I bet the auction has a frenzy at the end. Genuine Oldsmobile unused sheet metal isn’t cheap or plentiful. The overseas stuff is junk and the real “dyed in the wool” Olds guys know it.

Where are the W29 hoods, I'd love one of those.

Tim - You must have meant "W25" hoods (the OAI hoods w/the two long scoops). There are a lot of them floating around out there if you have a car needing one or just want to hang one on the garage/shop wall. The Olds '70-2 fenders and QP's were in the dealer system for a long time and there are also a lot of those around. OAI hoods?.....discontinued long before the fenders and QP's but there are plenty of used ones. Heck, I remember checking on the hoods back in the early 80's at Charles Maund Olds (Tim will recognize that name)....I could have bought one for $453 or something like that. I didn't have my crystal ball with me at the time.

You are absolutely correct, I shouldn't post after 10:00 PM. Oh yes, I recognize Charles Maund and the name, they've been in the news lately. I don't need one, but I love 70-72 442's. I hope to meet you sometime.

We've met a few times briefly but it was over at Allan W's house when we all got together to stuff "bags" for the Make-A-Wish car shows over the years so it was one of those "Hi, I'm so and so" and then off to the bag-stuffing-assembly-line in Allan's or Bob's kitchen :)

I remember now, thank you for the reminder of the good old “Texas Classic Car Show” days. That was a great event. I had my yellow 1972 442 there one year.

Those are convertible quarter panels so not nearly as pricey as the hardtop panels. Last hardtop panels I had sold for $6k last summer. The convertible quarters are anywhere between $1500 to $2000 for the pair. The NOS fenders are maybe $1500 for a pair TOPS. There seem to be quite a few pairs floating around. The decklid is for a Supreme so the '72 Hurst/Olds crowd may have interest. The front bumpers are cool BUT what are the chances the NOS chrome has held up? The seller is nuts at his eBay asking price, but in today's market, who knows what he'll end up getting for the parts. Regardless, a cool collection of parts!

The note on the Deck lid is from a note pad which reads:
