1970 Chevelle rear finned brake drums original 3853714 knock outs INTACT
 

Hey Gang, I have a take off pair of original 1970 Chevelle finned rear brake drums available here - casting numbers are 3853714 of course.

Both cast dates match L 17 9 or December 17, 1969 for a 70 model - off same car.

Highlight of, and the value in these, is that the knock outs are intact - super rare to find anymore IMHO.

These are off a running car and the surface is only a dusting of oxidation from condensation in the mornings.

One is a little less pitted than the other and that other one has lug holes and seem a little wallowed out and out of round - definitely not fatal, but you should be aware - I doubt it causes any issues, just aesthetic. See detailed photos. Could likely get away with a scuff rather than a full on turning. Could also blast them to strip the black paint if you're restoring them.

These would be great on a survivor or a high end restoration - LS6 or any SS car.

May fit the other A bodies - El Camino and Monte Carlo too.
