VERY cool Fathom Blue '70 Chevelle SS396, #s 396/4-sp, 2nd Owner
Still with the original owner until recently...you just don't find cars like this very often anymore.

That car is a little over an hour from me. It's been listed 2 previous times with more revealing pictures. It looks like it was stored on a dirt floor or maybe even outside. The seller has been a little more selective with the photo's this time. I may take a look this weekend just out of curiosity. I think it sold as a BIN at 39K the first time and a BIN or best offer the second time. It looks as though neither sale stuck.

If the trunk photo is indicative of what’s going on with the rest of the underside….

Yikes, I missed that picture….

Chevelle...
Those Mohawk Super Mag 70's bring back some memories
My first big block Nova had those front and rear...G60's in the rear and E60's in the front, on Cragar SS wheels. Pretty sure the name of our local tire shop was Mohawk Tire...all the muscle cars in town went there for replacement rubber. [they even sold re-treads!] Lots of body issues with that car...you would be way in the hole quick if you peeled off the bondo and old paint. But, given the prices and cars I see being sold...you never know. -wilma |
