This is one sweet ride IMO.

Seller sucks at taking pictures (as do I).

"Only 1,030 original miles. That’s all the seller states that this 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo has been driven in more than 52 years. In fact, it had only gone 286 miles from new until the seller acquired the car in 2021. The story is the original owner passed away shortly after purchasing the car and it went to her nephew, who did not drive. It was garaged for the next half-century and when the nephew himself passed, the seller purchased it from his sister. Since acquiring it, the seller has made the car roadworthy, with a new water pump, new tires, and more. There is surface corrosion over much of the engine compartment and chassis and the body shows a few garage-incurred dings, but then again, the car has only 1,030 miles. “It runs and drives like new,” says the seller."

Wow, that is way cool, sold new in Utica, MI. The seller is about 40 minutes from me if anyone needs a firsthand look.

Am I seeing this correctly, Shadow Gray with Green interior? Now that's unusual. I am surprised the General let them build it that way.

Looks like that to me too, Bill, and per Colvin's book that is an available color combo. Not my cup of tea though.

3 months ago someone offered $23,500 for this and the deal is not done yet???? And some knucklehead wants the VIN so he can run a Carfax :stupid:

Don't do me like that. I want this one bad. Trying to resist because I'd drive the wheels off of it and then it would just be another clapped out MC.

That is pretty cool, at least the mileage. I love Shadow Grey but am not big on the green interior with that color exterior but what the heck. On the other hand, what can you buy for $25k let alone with that kind of mileage? Very tempting!

Really surprised this car is still available and no one has stepped up since October. Would love to carefully go through and detail this car.

Nice car to look at until you open the door. That green stopped me in my tracks. I couldn't own it, as I would always wish it were a better color combo.
I don't understand why the seller doesn't accept the $23,500 offer and move on. It's a very fair offer to me.

1970 Monte Carlo

With no A/C, crank windows, Bench Seat and Green Cloth interior against Shadow Gray exterior, I think $23,500 is ALL the money as well.
