4 speed and factory air. A few hokey 'enhancements', but overall looks nice!

Quarters were replace with the 70 72 style. Should have marker lights under the El Camino script.

Don't think so on a 68. 69 might have had a side marker light, but not 68. Since the tail light wrapped around the side, it served as a side marker of sorts. I still have pictures of the 68 Elky I bought in 1974, and it has no separate side marker light on the quarter.

Yup. Sixty eight has sider marker in the front, behind the engine callout. Not in the rear.
