Wow...'72 El Camino SS454/4-sp, Special Order Black, $2,500
Yep, it's a project for $2,500, but where are you going to find another one? For that price I'd consider buying it and storing it in the corner of the garage until I had time.

How would you know this is an LS6 car?

There was no LS6 in 1972. It was a 70 only option. In 1972, the VIN shows what engine came in the car. This car truck came with the LS5 454.
