With the way people collect old parts in the package, I was wondering if this is worth selling as is or should I just tear it open and use it? It's pre barcode, but I don't know how old it is. If I sell this one I'm going to have to buy another newer one. I believe the writing will rub off.

The original packaging from the late '60s looked like this, just in case anybody was wondering.

I would think the Taiwan sticker would put it into the late 80's, maybe early 90's.

Yea, but I would expect it to have a barcode on it by then. I think I'll just put it on dad's 327 and forget about it.

I should have left it in the package. The bolt holes didn't line up, the center threaded tube was too short and the mating surface wasn't flat. I got it all fixed. Having a mill and a lathe sure is handy sometimes.

Dang, was it even for the application on the package ?? Having equipment like that IS very handy, the few times you need it. Kind of like owning a roll back and only using it a few times a year...

Yes, it was correct for the application, but not done well. It should be alright now.
