This super Sinclair Dino Neon Sign is an attractive and fun display piece. It's in new condition with original plastic around the base. It has the original Sinclair Oil Corporation Officially Licensed Product sticker on the backside. The Sinclair Oil Corporation was an American petroleum corporation founded by Harry F. Sinclair on May 1st, 1916. The corporate logo featured the silhouette of a large green Brontosaurus dinosaur, based on the then-common idea that oil deposits beneath the earth came from the dead bodies of dinosaurs. Sinclair was ranked as one of the largest privately owned American corporations. It owned and operated refineries, gas stations, hotels, a ski resort and a cattle ranch. The company had multiple acquisitions and name changes over the years but is still operational today. The corporate logo featured the silhouette of a large green Brontosaurus dinosaur, based on the then-common idea that oil deposits beneath the earth came from the dead bodies of dinosaurs. The Sinclair “Dino” brand symbol is iconic and recognizable across America. The metal front fascia displays the Brontosaurus dinosaur in green with a white border. The Dinosaur was outlined with white neon. The Sinclair company name and the name Dino is red. The names were outlined in red neon. This is a really fun sign that even children appreciate!

The support structure is composed of black finished metal housing. It's equipped with two 120-volt power cords and switches. The sign is in excellent working order. New wood crate is included.
