'65 L-79 Malibu
I remember talking about this car a few years ago when it was for sale by a different owner. The latest pictures (and I give the seller credit for including them) are pretty unflattering. Cool car for sure - who doesn't love a red on red bench seat 4-speed car - but this thing needs a ton of work to be nice.

65 l79....
I love L79 cars...but, that body work looks like I did it :smirk:
so, lets say, $30,000 for body and paint work and you have a $69,000 L79 '65. Where's the market these days?
I am a sucker for a bench seat L79 Malibu, and red/red is over the top! Too bad about the Stevie Wonder body work.
I don't know that $30K is gonna get you where you want to be on that car. Have to say though, the underbody looks better than I thought it would be.
Maybe that shoddy bodywork is a blessing in disguise because it gives you the opportunity to eliminate the ugliest piece of body side molding that Chevrolet ever put on a vehicle.
