At the dealer in 1970 just before I bought my LS6

It looks like you were at an AMC dealership. Did you sell it back to them or did they have an LS6 trade-in?

Could you post any LS6 pics in Chevrolet forum. Would love to see them. Awesome pic of your Scrambler!

Steve, I was graduating HS, had a 59 Vette that I put a 301 4 speed in, it was quick and a buddy wanted it, sold $2250 so I was on the hunt for something quicker. The Scrambler was on the lot, real neat car but as a avid car magazine I read about SS with a LS6, I was sold. No dealers in Rockland County had one, my uncle was a pontiac dealer in the Bronx, said by a GP, Well uncle Joe and my mom went to where else Motion and Baldwin Chevrolet, he did the talking and $3825 I owned a Phatom Blue LS6 , one option am radio bench seat, M22 410 Bad ass car, And the serious racing and Day One stuff happened! I have some old polaroids to post on the right spot.
