Interesting Camaro reading in five different car magazines ranging from Mar 1966 till Jan 1967.
Car Life Mar 1966 showing a Chevrolet Panther rendering on the cover, more renderings inside with their take on the possibilities of Chevy’s answer to the Mustang. Motor Trend Jul 1966 also showing some renderings on the cover of the upcoming “Chevy’s answer to Mustang”, or Panther as they know it by its then present name. Inside MT presents what they know about the upcoming “Detroit ‘67s” including actual spy photos of Chevy’s answer. Hot Rod magazine Oct 1966 declares “The swingin’ 67s” on the cover with a 67 Camaro RS/SS convertible taking part. Going through the more interesting models, news and options with extra focus on the new Camaro. Car Life Nov 1966 now showing an actual color photo of the brand new Camaro on the cover. Presenting “four sleek newcomers for the personal car parade”, where the Camaro is one of them including some cool illustrations as well as three red RS/SS 350 convertible ads. Hot Rod magazine Jan 1967 with the cover header: “Chevy’s hottest Camaro: SS 350”, this is the issue with the famous article by Eric Dahlquist road testing the Camaro where this took place: "We were driving the Camaro cross-country just before announcement day and stopped for gas at a lonely desert service station. The attendant came to wait on us, took one look, then turned and yelled to his partner working on the lube rack, “Hey, Bill, come look at the Chevrolet Mustang!” Camaro is here, but it has a lot of catching up to do!" All magazines are in good condition overall, some patina and wear can be observed on the covers while the insides are nice. Sold as a package $40. Or $10/ea sold separately. Thanks, Ove |
