Pete Rose re-instated
 

Rose is finally re-instated and will,soon I hope,voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.He bet on baseball games but never ones that the Reds were involved in.He should never have been banned.His re-instatement should have happened when he was still alive.All time hit leader and I'd vote him in before any player that took P.E.D's.Rose did it with talent and hustle not performance enhancing drugs!

They wouldn’t reinstate him when he was alive of course to torture him. He should have went in because he was the greatest hitter of all time. His son should tell baseball to f… off. Pete knew he should’ve been in with 100% of the vote. Every player before and after him all believe he should’ve been in.

I'm Betting on Shoeless Joe Jackson getting into the HOF before Pete does. ;)

Was watching an interview with Johnny Bench and he said no.Pete was a polarising guy but I always liked him.

Bench didn’t like him personally but he knows that pete rose’s greatness should have gotten him into the fame. A lot of people don’t like Jordan but everyone knows he deserved to be into the hall of fame.

Saw a story about Pete doing an interview when he was 82 years old.

Interviewer asked him what his batting average would be if he had to face the pitcher today.

He said: "maybe 190, 195" Interviewer was really shocked: "Is the pitching that much better now than when you played?"

Pete: "No dumb a$$; I am 82 now."

Actually Pete Rose did bet on his own team. However he never bet on them to lose.... Joe Jackson was guilty of throwing games , the fact he was reinstated with Rose, is an insult to Rose....Any player or coach losing on purpose should NEVER be reinstated.
