Eye for R series Batteries
 

For some reason, prob just lazy, the people making the R type battery topper ( R79,R89) paint the eye Red, most don’t even notice, the eye in my topper fits rite in, exactly the rite size, it has to be drilled or milled out though, but it is a nice detail over the red painted eye.

Here’s what I did on my topper. Drill out the red eye, insert a short section of a glue stick, & put a piece of green masking tape on the bottom. Saw this tip somewhere, but can’t emember where.

Not bad.

We could do a batch of eyes if there was interest.
The PT topper eye we did at first was green frog tape on clear plexi, but I wasnt happy. One day walking by the plexi rack at work. I saw the neon clear plexi left over from a Chrysler sema or NADA stuff I think it was.
