Super Street experience anyone?

I’m very new here (C3 Corvette owner) and someone on the Pontiac Forum pointed me in this direction as apparently y’all know your stuff! Registered for the 2025 MCACN show and entered into the Super Street class. Has anyone here participated in that particular class? I obviously want to put my best foot forward for such an incredible opportunity and experience.

- Any advice/tips?
- What was judging like?
- Did they hit the floor and just look under the car or put it on a lift?
- I burned up my wiper motor and since my car doesn’t see rain I haven’t bothered to install a new one…do they check function for things like that (A/C, horn, factory alarm, etc)?
- I also removed my spare carrier as I like the look of the car better without it…do I need to reinstall for the show?

Greatly appreciate any insight y’all can give…thank you and super excited to experience MCACN for the first time.

This is from the MCACN web site, so I would say you are good to go, but I'm only familiar with the Vintage Certification class regulations.

Super Street
Modified/Custom/Fit & Finish Judged Vehicles: Vehicles are judged on a 1,000 point scale with no deductions for deviations from stock. Overall attention to cleanliness and detail inside and outside along with panel fit and finish is considered. This category may also be suitable for driven factory stock cars that are not freshly restored or matching numbers.

Super Street is indeed based on prioritizing fit and finish and cleanliness, inside, outside and underneath. While the cars are not put on a lift, judges do inspect the undercarriage and suspension.

Deviations from stock and modifications are fine, and date codes and part numbers are not checked. We do not do any operations check, as the fire marshall requires the battery to be disconnected.

This is comparable to Autorama or World of Wheels type judging, and we present awards at three levels;

Blue Ribbon; 950-1,000 points
Red Ribbon: 900-949 points
White Ribbon: 849-899 points.

We NEVER judge any category 1st, 2nd, 3rd, so your car or truck is always judged based on its own merits.

My biggest tip is to read everything that is sent to you, from move-in instructions to hotel information and everything else, and don't be afraid to ask questions at any time and do whatever you can to spend time near your car, share the story and history and most important...have fun!

Thanks for joining us!
