Hello
These tires are no longer available. Best bet is to buy good used or NOS. I was looking for similar tires for my project. All the old bias ply type (L-60-15 etc ) from most companies are no longer. Mickey Thompson and Pro-Trac(Coker) are the only 2 companies making bias ply "Big Meats"

I talked to them a couple of years ago. They are still in business but don't make the Torque Twisters any more. Here's their info:

Pos - A - Traction Inc.

Compton, CA 90224

Thanks Darryl, but youposted the same out dated information I already have.I have to agree with whitetop, they are out of business.

Anyone know some good websites to buy used or NOS tires like POS-A-TRACTION
FYI, POS-A-TRACTION were manufactured by Kelly.
I think they may still be available in the UK and Australia.I have to check.

Re: Can you still buy Pos-A-Traction Tires?

Most of the "little" tire companies were bought up over the years by the bigger companies. Most if not all the bias ply molds are shot or were destroyed. I have Kelly Springfield Super Chargers on the back of the Mustang. Before Kelly was bought by Goodyear last year, I talked with a guy from KS that said even if they had the old molds I would have to buy something like 10,000 of them. They cannot shut down production lines and change tooling for a few tires. He doubted if the old tooling was even still available.
I finally found a NOS set from a guy in Hemmmings from a want ad I placed. Best bet is the swap meets/internet.
What size do you need??

The Pos-A-Traction tires that I had in early '70s had Inglewood Tire and Rubber Company on them. Might this company be still around or was it bought up long ago? Bill Kretch owned the company in the early days. Do a Google search for "Inglewood Tire".
