Re: EL Camino Supercars?
I would think the ElCamino with a 454/450 LS-6 or a 396/375 L-78 with L-89 Aluminum heads is about as good as it got for the Elco back then.I don't recall ever seeing a documented 427 in one,but that is just me.

EL Camino Supercars?
Was there ever such animal as an El Camino Supercar? Just a random thought........
An L88 El Camino sure would be different...... |
Re: EL Camino Supercars?
I have seen magazine articles on one 1969 Motion 427 El Camino and one Dick Harrell LS6 El Camino. There may have been more.

Re: EL Camino Supercars?
I am currently engine bay detailing a 69 elco. I tell you that the more I stare at this truck the more I like it. Red/Black top, Black sport stripe with SS wheels and G-70-14 red stripes. Sharp truck...BKH

Re: EL Camino Supercars?
April '70 Car Craft has an article on a Dick Harrell prepped '70 LS-6 El Camino an LS-6 powered '70 Nova. They drag tested both cars and they ran 11's w/slicks and open headers.
