Re: They Killed Photopoint!!
Your best bet is probably to go over to Ebay and see what the sellers there are using. You can right click on the pictures and show the properties to see where they are hosted. There is one called baypal.com, another called pixhost.com, I am sure that there are others. There are help boards on Ebay where people are always discussing which host is best.
I don't know which one is best right now, when a good service starts up they seem to get flooded and slow down pretty quickly. The real best bet is to use an internet sevrvice that lets you have a lot of space with your account. I am pretty lucky since Sonic gives 80MB. |

Re: They Killed Photopoint!!
I am in the exact same position as you WhiteTop.
My ebay auctions dropped dramatically in biders.A picture says 1000 words. I too am looking for a new host. I have contacted my credit card company for a reverse charge to Photopoint. They are getting alot of this.We can all get a refund if we ban together. |
Re: They Killed Photopoint!!
I've been through this several time's,I don't post that many pictures....so there's not a chance in hell,I'm sending some one some cash every month, just to post a pic once in a while......whats next, buying stamps for email?
Any how, heres the only place I've found that you can hotlink pic's from, and not get the big red X. http://community.webshots.com/ There not too bad....although bigger pic's look some what lesser quality, once there uploaded.....for some unkown reason |

You can use Ebays photo service to post pics. I never used Photopoint when dealing with ebay. I stored everything on My Documents and transferred the pics to ebay when selling something. Dave |
