LS6 Chevelle build sheet fun fact.
While pulling the inner fenders on my LS6 Chevelle I found another build sheet. There was one on each front fender. They were glued on and held on with one nut from the SS 454 emblems. When I pulled the emblems off there was still a tiny circle of build sheet under the nut with the stud poking through. This is a Leeds Kansas built car. http://members.aol.com/clill8567/build/

Re: LS6 Chevelle build sheet fun fact.
Thanks...Actually it has either 3.2 or 4.2 build sheets. I have one and part of a second one that both came out of the back seat. There is still even another one still in the hog rings in the back seat. So either it had three in the back seat or the .2 is part of the one that is still there. So apparently the build sheets on the front fenders got glued to them prior to Emblems being attached.

Charley, Does this LS6 have Malibu or SS door panel emblems?

Re: LS6 Chevelle build sheet fun fact.
Charley,
I'm happy to find just part of 'one' much less a trifecta of build sheets. ssl78, also found a build sheet in the fender of his 1969 L78 Rag M22,Rosewod wheel Chevelle. The strangest place I have found one on a 1970 Chevelle SS ,was under the tar like carpet underlayment, under the dirivers side front floor pans. It was very well preserved since the pans had not rusted and it was place in face up. This was also a Kansass Built car. |

Charley thats a Hoot!
Wierdest place I ever found a 1970 Chevelle SS Buildsheet, was in another Chevelle! Seems the boys on the line did sometimes put a cars buildsheet in the one in front of or behind it on the line. |
