1962 Nova FI 327 360 hp Bill Thomas Supercar?
 

This is an interesting 1962 Nova. Article says in 1962 Chevy sold a complete engine transplant kit with all parts needed to convert a 4 or 6 cyl Nova to a V8 4sp. Bill Thomas built the first one and helped design the kit. The guy on the left is Bill T. They said it was quicker then a 62 Corvette test car. Anyone know of these dealer installed V8 Nova kits? I don't believe the factory built a V8 Nova until 1965?

I saw this car, or a similar one, at an auction in Newport Beach, CA a few years back. Owner displayed paperwork and an old Hot Rod mag. article. Not sure what the car sold for or if it sold at all.
