Motion Fiberglass Hoods
 

I seem to recall a post a while back about Legendary Fiberglass in PA was the original supplier for the Motion '69 Camaro stinger hoods and other body parts. Is this correct? Does anyone have an address for them? How does the VFN fiberglass stinger hood compare? (the search function is down)

Yes that is correct, Legendary has been the supplier for Motion for years. Legendary started in the '60's and were then known as Fastglas and later Manufacturers Associates. They still had the Stinger and L-88 Hoods in their catalog several years ago for $375 + shipping. They make most of the large swap meets during the year(Carlisle, Charlotte etc) and will deliver the hoods there for pickup for free. I bought a L-88 hood from Motion some years back and it was drop shipped from Legendary. The price is the same whether you buy it from Motion or Legendary. 3-4 years ago when the Motion stuff starting to get well known, Leg bought 4-5 L-88 Camaro hoods to carlisle and they were sold out in a few days. Do they make hoods for 70-73 MOTIONS? I chucked mine in the burn pile DUUUUU. But that was before I knew it was a motion car. It had a nasty looking snorkel scoop on it so like an big dumby I chucked it.

They make all years Motion hoods. Think they are in Westminister Pa but not sure of that.
I have their catalog somewhere will try to find a number

I did a business search online for Legendary using Westminster, PA for the address. Do any of theses look right?
