need help identifying a set of ladder bars

I have a set of ladder bars that were removed from a '69 442 a few years ago. They bolt in, and replace the lower control arms. I contacted Lakewood to see about replacement bushings for the front, as the back is simply a bolt that attaches to the rearend. After describing the ladder bars, I was informed that Lakewood never made any ladder bars that "replaced" the lower control arms. Only ones that were used in conjunction with the lower control arms. They appear to have been painted yellow originally, although now are somewhat rusty.
Can anyone help identify these ?

Thank you for your time,
Kent

Re: need help identifying a set of ladder bars

NMW out of New Jersey used to make a set of ladder bars in that configuration. At one time they did paint the bars yellow. The earlier bars were silver and then later burnt orange. The company now makes car dollies and that sort of thing. They advertise in the front of Hemmings in the color section every so often. NMW was a big traction bar company in the '60's and early '70's.

Dave,

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like these were not anything special, so I will be able to modify them without any guilt. https://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Thanks again,
