2002 ZL-1
 

How many from this site are getting the new ZL-1. I have #26. I know Charley, Bill, Carl, Kevin Simms, Holub, Kevin Hand. Anyone else? I think they are all gone but a couple.

I have one coming, it is ordered through Superior Chevrolet.It is a Stage 2, but I will check on the Stage 3 package if it is not to late.

I've got one on order. Either #11 or #12. Not sure it matters though.

I don't know what you guys are paying for these ZL1's but this is sure to make it sound like a deal!! Locally here a Chevy Dealer has a 35th ragtop with a bunch of SLP options and they put a $10K dealers desireable vehicle adjustment on it. This one is $52K and change before tax and lic. how much is to much? i am thinking about a 2nd one, shoot me i am only the piano player! i think they will take off right away or when everyone knows they are gone or some new generation guys hit it big, like belk says its a shot in the dark, he's getting one, by the way, take "2". I believe the GMMG ZL1 starts at about $55K. There should be a $2K rebate from GM and some discount off list. It will probably be interesting as owners compare prices sometime in the not too distant future! I've got to think the dealer mark-up in these cars is substantial.

Please give out information on the motor in this car, cubic inches, hp, the information on the stages you can purchase, thanks.

The Basic ZL1 has a Vette ZO6 engine that has been played with a little. I believe it puts out right at 430 hp. Any discussion of other Stages is not something that Chevrolet has blessed and probably shouldn't be discussed in this Forum. :-)
