Re: YS8013
Wow that didn't take long. No wonder the guy wasn't really interested in hearing your story about the car, Charley. Now is your chance to put it back in your garage!!

Re: YS8013
Charley, is this an example of what we might find in your garage? If nothing else, this ebay ad allows us average joes to get a good look at a piece of muscle car history.
It's too bad the new owner treats the car as a commodity. Billy |
Re: YS8013
Anybody have a body # ?

Re: YS8013
Can anybody prove it has the original Yenko transplant engine?

Re: YS8013
It does not have the orig. transplant engine. I got the car from Bob Egley who had it advertised on this site. Bob lives about 22 miles from where Yenko was and owned it for over 20 years. I believe Brian said that Donna Mae Mims read some notes at some time stating that that car was traded back in at Yenko and Don used it for a Driver for awhile. Nice car. The shifter is a Vertigate. Nice Headers, no smog. Runs hard.

Re: YS8013
During a restoration on the car, a stray spark caught the interior on fire of 8013. Caused the interior to burn and buckle the roof. The entire roof was replaced and the 140 speedo was detroyed. That would have been a rough day...BKH

Re: YS8013
So does it have a 140 speedo now? Did the YS-8013 number tag survive?
