Is anyone bringing there 2002 ZL1 To the show? And if so will they be drag racing it? Cause id like to see and new ZL1 Vs a 69 ZL1 or even vs a yenko/copo. Thanks

My 2002 ZL1 should be there. Not sure if I'll be ready to thrash it as there won't be any miles on the engine.

why charlie, i can't understand that. didn't they do that in 69. joking of course. i can't wait to get mine, talked to matt a couple of weeks ago to go over the options, setting mine up as drag car, switched color to hugger!

I am GLAD you guys are getting the NEW ZL-1's--I could NOT get my #35 to match my '69---the guy that has it Would NOT give it up... Enjoy the cars.

I don't know the specifics, but that just is just plain wrong. Look at it this way, though: the NEW ZL-1s are still gonna depreciate while your '69 is only gonna appreciate!

Mark, I can't imagine why a person wouldn't switch car #'s with you! What the hell does #35 mean to him/her? They must have intentions of selling it to you at a later date [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/smirk.gif[/img] Not only should current ZL-1 cars be offered to people who currently own 1969 ZL-1 cars, but they should be the only ones to get the original 8 colors, and the matching number car. I don't agree with anyone getting a shot at the original car colors. Those 8 should be unique. I think that was the original plan. No offense to those who did get 69 colors! I agree 100% Dave! Did the person who currently has #35 want it for a specific reason?
