Farewell

Sorry to say I will no longer associate or be a part of this site. For those who need to get ahold of me you have my phone # and adress. This will be my last post. Tom I see were the funnycar issue is headed and if you had pertinent info you should have shared it publically not privately. You have put people in a position by the direction you have taken. Now that we have an understanding you need to share that info pictures and all

Now what?

This funny car thing was just getting started, I was wondering where it was going to go. I was hoping the Gibb daughter had some old pics of her towing it around or something. Or some old pics of it being raced, if it was towed 150 times it probably did a number of runs.

Tim, I don't know what is going on but it must be pretty bad to make you leave the site. You are my Friend and You know that My Wife and I are Very Thankful for the Motion find. I will keep in touch and keep looking for a YENKO CHEVELLE for me. Much thanks, Mark

Re: Farewell

What could be so upsetting to have you pack up and leave? Does it have something to do with the site/members

You were just part of a special and potentially Historic Momment when you discovered that there were indeed two Dick Harrell Funny Cars (Contrary to what many have said, in the past) and that your car in the opinion of a few who were, very close to the situation have stated that yours is one of those cars.

You have never represented that it was, only that it could be. So why would this info cause you to leave?

The membership would truley be at a loss

Tim,
First and foremost, it was a pleasure meeting you and your father at Vettefest. I enjoyed BSing with you guys. Please keep my email and number on file. I hope that we can talk cars sometime. Take care and good luck to you.
