Correct date code for a Muncie in a '69 06A build
 

Does anybody have a sense of what the appropriate date range/code would be for a Muncie M20 in an 06A built 69 COPO Camaro? I've got a non-original P8R17 in the car now, is this too old for what would have come from the factory?

That's pretty far off. My 04A car has an early Jan 69 M20 that matches the POP. So anything within 3 maybe 4 months would be acceptable. The closer the better though.
