Bob
70 is the year, but I only find CG in Chevrolet books as a 1970 454 Police trans. Is it for sure a O and not a C? Look at the VIN # on the other side it narrow it down more.I'm only pertaining to this as a Chevrolet,so I could be way off if it is indeed BOP. |
Re: BOP T-400 ident
Deinitely a BOP but I will look and see what the other numbers are

Re: BOP T-400 ident
Hi Bel air..
70 OG code is for a 455 V-8 cutlass and 442 without the ram air. Does the tranny have the stewart warner speedo transducer mounted at the speedo cable inlet? That would be indicative of a 4.10 or higher ratio it was in front of......Joel |
Re: BOP T-400 ident
Nope....modulator port is plugged and same goes for speedo...free for anyone...just come get it before I let the scrappers take it next garbage night !!

Re: BOP T-400 ident
Just a thought. If the VIN# is stamped on the drivers side, run it and find the owner of this Vehicle today.Maybe they would want to reunite it with their car if restoring it today.
Otherwise it's a great Boat Anchor.... |
