Re: 1975-1979 Nova ::yenko::

Don was planning to continue the Yenko Deuce in '71, and had added another Nova called the Yenko Ace for '71 with 15" wheels. However, neither appears to have made it into production.

Don had plans to build a '73-'74 Yenko Nova, we have his original artwork for the stripe package, but do not believe any were ever produced.

I do not believe anything was planned or produced for the '75-'79 Nova from Yenko. The only supercar-Nova for those years is the Nickey Nova with a big block. I'd love to find that magazine car!

Don Yenko Raced a Nova (road racing) in the mid to late 70's but I don't know of any Nova's sold to customers after 1970.

I believe I've seen a '75 Motion Nova also. I've seen that Nickey Nova too. In old magazines of course. I've never seen or even heard of ANY '74 Nova Supercars. I've seen 2 or 3 '73 Nickey Novas, but not a '74. Anyone know of any???

I seem to remember an artical on a white 75+ nova 454 that was nickey or motion.would have been in the last 2 years,maybe hot rod or carcraft.
it showed a real granny looking nova with a vinyl top doing a nice burn out at a drag strip.
this would have been around the time I started asking about the centerville md yenko duece.

Will;
Speaking of the Centerville Deuce, I'm still searching on that one. Everyone remembers seeing it, but nobody remembers what happened to it

I also found the original owner of that '69 SS Nova that I bought from you, he's gone - long sad story. I send you a PM with the details.

In the early 80s I was at Keystone Chevy formely Nickey Chevy and talked to a mechanic who remembers doing a Nickey Nova in the mid 70s. He remembers this car because it was for a handicaped person and they had to install hand controls in it. He thougt it had a 454 installed. The test drive was something he wouldnt forget
