Car Craft Summer Nationals St. Paul, MN?
 

Is anyone from the board planning on attending this coming weekend (18-20th)? I'm planning on making the pilgrimage up during the day on Saturday before work at 9 p.m.. If you've never 'been', it's unreal and if you have been and returning lemme know what you're bringing and I'll hunt for you. It's my old stomping ground...and just plain fun to see 13K cars (worth noting) in one area. It's worth the trip if you're in driving distance, for sure!

several of us are going. Ron B, Earl H, meyself, Chad B, Tim C, possibly Ken B. and others I am sure I am forgetting or haven't heard from. Hopefully we can get through this without severe storms or unbearably hot temps as in years past. If interested, PM me for my cell number and maybe we can all get together Saturday.

Ron may have his 70 Nova and Earl may have his Forest Green Deuce there. Can't speak for the others.

Hey Rick & Earl. I'm sure I'll spot you guys. I just got back from getting a 128MB memory card for my aging digital camera...now I just need to find a radio flyer to carry the AA batteries in. Unfortunately, I'm only going to be able to make it up Friday evening.

Sorry fella's, am too busy working and setting up my new trailer in preparation for the Gibb show in 2 weekends. Work next weekend, buring the midnight oil getting ready.
Hope to run "Little Hoss" at Cordova at the 50th World Series of Drag Racing, August 22,23,24. My car was the Stock Eliminator Champ at the 1968 World Series. Garlits, The Farmer, Shirley M. etc. will be there. Hope to have some fun reliving the past. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Double whammy! Apparently I didn't read the CC itinerary..the closed the fairgrounds down at 6 p.m.! (I got there at about 6:10) Funny how the "Back to the 50's" show goes until 11 there, hmmm. In any event, I hung out on University Ave. and watched the cruise scene and can still smell the good gas! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] I've decided to wake up early on Sunday and make the trip up again (after a 1:30am closing shift Saturday and before the 8 P.M. Comedy show that I host on Sunday). I'm bummed that Little Hoss won't be there, wanted some pics but after seeing the cruise turnout, It'll be worth it.
Good luck at Cordova Ken, sounds like it'll be a trip to remember.

Many modern ZL1's made the show and from what I overheard, Chevy High Performance Magazine was doing a photo shoot later in the day.
