Super Chevy Pics (69 Chevelle)
1 Attachment(s)
As many of us who attended were impressed with this Chevelle. I thought I would post my pics of it. You had to see it in person to really appreciate the fine work. Not sure how he did in the voting but wow what a nice car. A nice fellow to talk to as well.

Re: Super Chevy Pics (69 Chevelle)
I talked to Chuck Huber last night and he said this was one of the nicest cars there! He also said the owner turned down 60K from an interested spectator!

Re: Super Chevy Pics (69 Chevelle)
Thanks for the earlier Pictures Darren.
Finally,A 1969 Chevy that looks good with those ugly 1969 Orange Ill. License plates. Owner Shane Price from Peoria Il. A June 69 Kansas City Leeds Plant Chevelle.Matching numbers all-L34 396/350Hp with M21,3:31 Posi & A/C & SMOG.Code 72 Monaco Orange on the cowl tag, confirms it is a true Super Sport, even w/o Paperwork. Tons of paper, and he bought it from a man building a home 3 years ago.You wouldn't believe what he paid for it He finally finishes the Chevelle and calls me to tell me to watch the gate at SC Indy.Friday AM we did,and what a surprise when I saw it come off the trailer! One of the best detailed and quality restorations I have seen.He should have been next to Jerry B. in Gold Class in my opinion. Shane won 1st place in his class. I love this car,and I usually hate Vinyl top Cars. Not this one! I wish I could have displayed right next to him. Baker appraised the car at 60K,then offered to buy it... He had the Ex tips made by a friend of mine, and came out quite good actually. I told him to get those 1970 Firestone wide oval Tires off,and put on some 1969 Goodyear Polys. Also loose those Black Plastic cowl grills. He has it dialed in pretty much though already. He will do the show the circut now.Chicago VetteFest will never be the same.... Re: Super Chevy Pics (69 Chevelle)
This was in my opinion the nicest car between Camaro or Chevelle in the show. I thought there should have been more cars of this quality there. I wonder if the weather had something to due with it. I got there early and the swap meet was like a mud pit and I also felt bad watching the people with the show cars wash the mud off of there cars.
