#837 Alternator
Good morning, boys! Found this on eBay for anyone shopping for an 837 alternator. Dated 9E23 (May 23, 1969). The "37A" stamp has been "boogered" some (does Mr. Webster recognize that word?)...seller claims price has been adjusted accordingly.
Happy shopping! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...33573&rd=1 |
Re: #837 Alternator
I wonder what the starting price would be without the "cosmetic defect".

[/ QUOTE ] Good question, Mike...probably would have started at his "Buy It Now" price and added a fast $100 for the quick deal. His BIN price of $600 would make it a $740 investment by the time the "Pirkle boys" (Master City Classic Car Parts) do their magic. Re: #837 Alternator
The fake 837's are out there large these days, seen good fakes and bad, I am in search of an 837 that would work for a 4/24/70 L78 engine build date. I have a 9H25 to swap that I personally took off an untouched 70 L78 Nova (have pictures of it). If anyone has one or knows the whereabouts of one, give me a shout. Thanks
